Forza 5 is free this weekend only so get it if you don't already own it

Like title of the thread says its free. Go to "games" and you see the Forza 5 sweepstakes picture and click it and go. This weekend only. I already own it. Came bundled with my xbox1. But figure to pass it on.

Sorry you're upset. However, the free weekend of Forza 5 was well advertised online including this post on Major Nelson's Blog

The game was free for the weekend only. It was not a demo but the full game with all features added (including earning achievements). After that you would have the choice to purchase the game if you liked.

yes , i downloaded it last night....I was wondering if there was a glitch of some sort....awesome...sucks that my xbox steering wheel does not work with it though

 

Is it free this weekend only as in it will go away Monday? Or free to own only this weekend?

I've been playing it for free all weekend and expected it to have gone today, however, it's still there.

Is this happening to anybody else? Should it just disappear? Hope I'm not going to get charged for it

 

Mines still working at the moment and nothing saying I've paid for it! Maybe it's a glitch?

 

Probably is Midas. I'm not complaining. Won't buy it though, it's nothing special

 

I didn't realize it was for the weekend only. I didn't see that listed on the xbox when I downloaded it. I chatted with their support staff and they shared the link but I wouldn't have downloaded a 40 gig game to only play it for 20 minutes.

That has to be the dumbest promotion I have ever heard of.

 

Do not agree with this at all, downloading it from Xbox live the verbage was vague and leads you to believe that the game was free and is a permanent addition to my collection of games. Why else would I waste the time to download a 40 GB file to my device
just to have it over the course of a weekend? The is a shameful ploy on both Microsoft and the Forza developers to escalate sales for the current game offering before Forza Horizions comes out. For the money that myself and others spend on these games, I am
offended that both organizations would proceed in such a manner to force players to spend money on a game that is about to be replaced in the coming months. At this point I am suggesting to every member of xbox live to pass on purchasing F5 and Horizons, as
that is what I will be doing also. Do not agree with deceptive business practices to in purchasing any services or products. If that is the current plans the Microsoft intends to pursue to remain relavent and competitive in the console area. I will very soon
be leaving Xbox live for good.
