    Forza 3 Expansion Code Region Lock Query


    Hi, I live in in Ireland and I want to purchase the expansion packs for Forza 3. I have the base game on pc and I really enjoy it , more than 4. I know that the game is not sold anymore on MStore but I have a friend willing to sell me his UK region locked
    code. Is it possible to activate this code in Ireland? I have Nord Vpn if thats any help? Any suggestions are welcome.

    I should add that I mixed up what DLC actually is. DLC seems to be addons to game. So Forza Horizon 3 that comes bundled is actually delivered with a game download code, and the Hot Wheels expansion as DLC.

    Is it the same with the game download codes, that they are region free on Xbox One?

    The codes are universal so they are not region locked. Gears 1 and 3 are region locked. So if your account region does not match your physical location, that will give you issues redeeming the codes.

    Yeah,you'll most likely get most codes with the console,one for the game & one for the Hot Wheels dlc.

    As Germany & Sweden are both classed as being in the same region then the codes should work.

    What region are you in and what region is your account? Most of the time, the issues with that code is a region issue. Fallout 3 is region locked.
