“FORTNITE” “Your account does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox LIVE ...

So I keep getting this error on my Xbox when I try to get in Fortnite, I have tried with my same account on my brother Xbox one and it works perfectly, only on my Xbox I get this error, someone have any clue why this is happening? Already reset my MAC address
but still the same problem keep happening. I played yesterday and it was all going fine, but today this problem is getting so annoying

I am trying to play fortnite on Xbox live. I have an active Xbox live membership but it is saying my account does not have Correct permissions to access Xbox live functionality.

It sounds like you're sharing gold on your brother's console, but you don't have gold on your account/your console. You need a gold subscription in order to play online.

 

If you go into your membership tab in the games & apps section you should be able to check if you have a an active gold membership by selecting Xbox Live Gold if it shows up there, obviously if it doesnt show up that answers your question.
