    Hello Julie,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble starting Fortnite on your Xbox S. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check for updates: Make sure your Xbox S is up to date with the latest system updates. You can do this by going to Settings > System > Updates.

    2. Clear cache: Clearing the cache on your Xbox S can help resolve issues with games not starting. To do this, press and hold the power button on your Xbox S until it turns off. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console and wait for 10 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and turn on your Xbox S.

    3. Reinstall Fortnite: Uninstall Fortnite from your Xbox S and then reinstall it. To do this, go to My games & apps > Games > Fortnite > Manage game > Uninstall all.

    4. Contact Epic Games: If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Epic Games support for further assistance.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Xbox One series s says Login failed when logging in to Fortnite

I have the same issue to now and it’s effecting Fortnite. This seems to be an ongoing issue with Xbox and constant bugs and issues. First my Fortnite game won’t boot up and I’m using the series s. Second the quick resume is possibly the dumbest thing to have been added, my Xbox one is better than the series s because of that. Anytime I play an online game and open it, dosent resume it just glitches my game out and when I remove it from quick resume anytime I open the game it adds it back. Xbox can do better. It’s a constant issue and not only Fortnite saying failed login. Please fix it, I got the series s over the ps5 because of my love for the console but at this rate I will have to go to the PlayStation to play games without issues. Please assist as other users are having this issue.

Can Someone Tell Fortnite they owe me a new xbox

I’m playing on an Xbox one s and My games have been working on and off recently some don’t work at all sometimes they hard crash mid game and won’t load back up I removed Fortnite completely and this didn’t fix it

then I hard reset my console by holding in the button for 10 seconds I signed into my account again but now I have another problem where it thinks I live in America and every time I try to change it in the settings it’ll force me to log back in and still thinks I’m American again.but I’m pretty sure it was Fortnite’s new update because it only started when Fortnite started glitching out before that my games were playable

I am having an issue with my captures. Anyone else? It won't even show on The app.

If I delete my account , will it erase anything on it ?? I have resetting my Xbox account and I logged out of my app . I have not uninstalled it . So I can do that next . I have resetted my wifi router . I can try the removing the account next as well. But it was working just fine this morning , and then when I jumped back on the game and recorded a clip , it said it did it and it shows on my Xbox , but it won’t upload it on the network and won’t let me delete some captures and videos . Then that’s when I checked on my app and it says it’s just stranded and to reload it and or try again later
