Fortnite will not work at all no matter what I try

No there was no significant change in the numbers, one time out earlier on after 20 seconds but not when it disconnected from live.

No new babies in the area.

ISP hasn't done any updates they said.

Just like before they said, no change.

No new gadgets or oven,

No difference in bandwidth at any point of day or night.

It would be good if I could look into my modem that sits behind my router . It's a bstar hmd404t. But the settings page has been hidden by the provider as its their box. Maybe that is closing the bat or doesn't have upnp. But why would it do this now ? I'm
on day 5 now, live connects but still drops after 2.15 minutes every time, weird.

As stupid as it sounds: During my Ambassador chats with people, some disconnects were resolved by

clearing up a corrupted system cache or by
deleting and re-downloading your profile (the instructions to delete the profile without losing your game progress is at the bottom of the page).

The thing however still might be your ISP or something in your immediate surrounding.

For example: if you have your console set up to connect wirelessly, you said 2 months ago everything worked fine. Now a neighbour of yours got a baby a few weeks ago, and now they have a wireless baby monitor that interferes with your WLAN signal. Or maybe
your family bought a new Microwave oven.

Or some ISPs give you the hardware necessary to connect to their service. On these devices, some ISPs have a service backdoor where they can update the modem or router firmware, or make configuration changes, should their service require it.

So even if you didn't change any settings, your Provider might have pushed a firmware update or configuration change to your modem or router without you knowing it.

Another thing that might have changed: Your Internet Provider ran an advertisement in your area, and a lot of people signed up during the last two months. Some ISP's overbook

DSLAMs or
CMTSs. So during the day, when most of the people in your neighborhood are at work for example, the connection point from your ISP works fine. But in the evening hours, when everyone gets home, and starts to use the Internet, the connection point gets overladen
with traffic, and drops some connections.

Could you therefore try the following:

On your PC, open up a command prompt. Do this by pressing "Windowskey + R" then typing "cmd" into the small window and press "OK". If you own a Mac or Linux PC, simply open a Terminal window.

Then enter the following command:

ping www.google.com -t

If you have a Mac or Linux PC, simply omit the -t

This should show you rows upon rows of numbers.

Now go on Xbox Live and play. As soon as you get a disconnect, look at your computer screen. Should your PC not be near the console, you might scroll up a bit after you get to your PC.

Do the numbers change significantly during your disconnect? Or does the output show something completely different?
