When you redeem a V-Bucks card on the Xbox website, you actually don’t get the V-Bucks added directly to Fortnite right away. Instead, you’re given a secondary code that you need to enter on Epic Games’ website to finish the process.

Here’s how to find and use that secondary code:

Go to > https://www.fortnite.com/vbuckscard

Sign in with your Epic Games account (linked to your Xbox profile).

Click Get Started and follow the steps.

If your Xbox redemption worked, it will show you the secondary code here, or apply the V-Bucks to the correct platform.

If you already redeemed the card on Xbox but missed the second step, it might’ve shown the secondary code only once, so check your email tied to the Xbox account; it sometimes gets sent there too.
