Fortnite Skins/Vbucks not transferring to PC after purchasing in Microsoft Store

I recently bought the Iris Pack in Fortnite in the microsoft store and I got my friend to log into my epic account on fortnite on his xbox since I don't own one to redeem it. He was able to redeem it on the xbox on my account and the skins were added to
the locker, but when I log into the same account on my PC, the skin and the VBucks do not transfer over. Is there a fix for this?

Thank you for the response, I was wondering if you buy a skin on xbox with the purchased vbucks, will that skin transfer over to PC?

From what i know Vbucks that you have bought via the Microsoft store do not transfer to PC

you purchased vbucks via epic on pc, then you need to load fortnite on pc to add them, to get vbucks on xbox you have to purchase via microsoft store or in game on xbox

In need of assistance, I bought V-bucks, and still did not receive anything. I bought the V-bucks via the online Microsoft store on my account that is linked with my epic games account, I'm using a PC to play Fortnite(I DON'T HAVE A XBOX). how can I resolve the problem?

As far as i am aware if you are using a PC to play fortnite then you needed to purchase the vbucks from the epic games store and not the Microsoft store.

Vbucks purchased from the Microsoft store would only be good for fornite on Xbox. Someone can correct me if im wrong about this.

If you bought the Vbucks from the xbox store it will Automatically transfer to your Fortnite account
