    Hi, hope you're all well.

    I have twins and hence things get very competitive in our household. We have an Xbox live account in an adults name and our two children are associated to this account so we know every move made by them.

    They are now pestering for Fortnite Save the World but at £35 x 2 i'm a little hesitant spend this amount just yet, can one code be used for the parental account and filter down to the associated childrens accounts?

    what should i do as an adult to let children buy games?

    In order to create a child account xbox requires an adult account. Children under 13 are not allowed to create accounts without an adult account. Have the adult user purchase the game or change the parental controls.

    Hi, Dan.

    Can you review if the Save the World add-on is enabled on your Xbox?

    This can be done by highlighting Fortnite > Manage Game & Add-ons > check Save the World.

    As your account owns Save the world, you should be able to see it listed there.

    You can create a child account and link it to your account as a parent account. This can be very beneficial as you can set rules and limitations for your child so that they require your permission to do things like accept friend requests or change account
    info.

    Please note that a gold account would have to be purchased for the child account. If the parent account has gold it does not filter down. The parent account does not require a gold account unless the parent wants to do live chat, play multiplayer or use
    apps like netflix.
