Fortnite game time limit not working for child

Hi

I have set up fortnite to be used between hrs of 11 am to 8 pm with a 2 hr time limit on weekends for my son. However my son was logged on using his account playing fortnite at 9 am this Sunday morning. We have no limits for Xbox and windows 10 under screen
time section so he can watch Netflix etc, but limit fortnite specifically in "Apps and game limits" section as detailed above. Please can you let me know why the app setting are not working? Is it defaulting to the unlimited setting under screen time?

Hi,

Thanks for using the Xbox Forums.

I would suggest removing the screen time limits completely and then resetting them up.

I have tried re-installing fortnite and the screen time restrictions are still not working. I am at a total loss.

I have not tried reinstalling fortnite yet, that was the last resort. But the screentime restrictions are identicle to the rest of the games. I will let you know how the re-install goes. Thank you.

Sorry for giving the wrong link.

Have you tried reinstalling Fortnite? Does Fortnite load up fully and allows him to play a multiplayer game?

Also, you may have not set it up properly, try seeing if there are any differences between the restrictions of the other games. Like days when the restrictions are active.
