    You'd be surprised how many multiplayer games use aim-assist... from the CoD games to Halo...

    Some you can't even turn off....

    You're getting aim-assist mixed up with auto-aim I think.



    Auto-aim is the thing in COD SP that lets you snap the sights on to the nearest target by pressing LT. Battlefield has it too.

    Aim-assist on the other hand is the thing that makes your sights move when an enemy runs past.



    Auto-aim is the one which is banned in MP games.

    I understand that your controller may have been working fine, please be guided that there are controllers that are verified that should work with cloud gaming.

    See the list here: What controllers can I use for cloud gaming on Xbox? | Xbox Support

    If your controller is not listed, there may be an issue with the compatibility. This is the reason why I ask you to reach out with your controller's manufacturer maybe they have a work around on this.

    You may also try to get assistance from Epic Games since this is an in-game related issue.

    Please also be guided that Xbox Cloud games are still in beta testing and we are constantly working to improve their performance and stability. Some issues may arise during this phase, but rest assured that our team already knows them and is doing their best to resolve them as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to develop this feature.
