Formatting a spare drive

I have a spare drive that is formatted for X-box and would like to format it for PC. So far no luck in finding out how to do it.

Hi,

Xbox formatted drives won't show on Windows straight away when you plug them into a PC.

To get a drive to show - and format it for PC - you need to run 'Disk Management' in Windows 10.

There are two ways to access this built in Windows App. Either:

Right click on the Windows START button and select Disk Management from the list.

Left click on the Windows Search bar and type

Disk Management into the search box and run from there.

If your drive is working it will appear as an unformatted drive in the list.

If you plug it into a pc or laptop it should show up as a new drive then i think you can just right click on drive and format it hope this helps
