    Forgotten PIN


    I am trying to access my Xbox account on my pc which are both set up on different emails- the pc is mine and the Xbox is my dads. I have gotten to the point where it asks to put in the PIN which my dad doesn't know and when I try change it in the settings it wont let me as it is my pc account and it wont let me change it to my dads email account. I therefore don't know how to change it and this is why I am asking for help.

    The pin that the oc it's requesting must be the PC account PIN, if this doesn't work please follow this steps to reset the PIN

    Sorry to hear it. In order to reset the pin the person who put it on will either need to enter the correct pin or type in the wrong pin 3 times before they're given an option to enter their password if they've forgotten the pin

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your PIN on your new PC. Are you referring to Windows Hello PIN? If yes, you may remove it by following these steps:

    Open the Windows 11 “Start” menu and click on “Settings”.

    with the "Settings" menu open, click on "Accounts"

    in the right side menu, click on “Sign-in options”.

    click on the item “PIN (Windows Hello)” and click “Remove”.

    a message will ask if you really want to remove your Windows PIN.

    hello MozLN the Xbox pin or Microsoft pin is different to parental control pin it could be that your parents have set the pin or you may have forgotten the pin if not i would suggest you contact Microsoft support to reset your pin: https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us
