    Forgotten an email linked to a very old Xbox 360 Gamer Tag


    Hiya,

    As the title suggests, I made this account back in 2005-2006.

    I cant for the life of me remember the old email address that the account was linked too, and I no longer own the Xbox system the account was created on.

    Is there a way of finding out which email is linked to a certain gamer tag?. I will be able to remember the password no problem.

    Why is Microsoft asking me to set a gamer tag (as if I’m a new user) when I already have one that I’ve been using and have not changed?

    Problem solved! I found thatI I have an old ms account attached to an old email address that I had forgotten all about. My gamer tag is linked to that one, so all good.

    before i had my Xbox 360 i used my mates and i stupidly linked a old account to my current email address and my current gamer tag has a email i don't use this means i wont be able to sing up to netflix or crunchy roll with my current email because its not
    the same as my current gamer-tags email how do i swap them ? do i just simply delete my old gamer tag and then just re-use my current email or will it not allow me because it was linked to a old gamer tag ?

    For some reason my new gamer tag linked itself to my old gamer tag email address. I don't know how to change that and to link my old gamer tag back to my Microsoft account. I believe that's why I cant play as my old game tag. Is there a way to fix that?

    Also you can only change emails linked to gamer tags from the xbox 360 dashboard. It's unavailable on PC and xbox one
