forgot to cancel Ultimate before loading a 12 month gold subscription

Does anybody know how I can got them to reverse a subscription load, I bought my son a 12 month gold and he loaded it before cancelling the free Ultimate 1 month subscription, this has meant it was loaded as Ultimate and only gave him 4 months, is there
any way to have this changed back, I have tried all routes to try and speak to Customer services but here in the UK there is no-one available and no option to email them. Any ideas?

I hope Support are able to help, but it's worth saying that your son will have had to confirm twice that he wanted the code converted from 12 months Gold to 4 months Game Pass Ultimate.

Honestly I find the Game Pass Ultimate offering to be fantastic value and I'd strongly recommend trying out some of the incredible games you get via it

Hi, you can only clarify this with support. There is a conversion table for the different subscriptions for XBOX.

I would log in to Xbox support and live chat with an agent. They should be able to guide and hopefully solve the issue you are having.

Since Game Pass Ultimate includes Gold, when you add a Gold card to an Ultimate subscription, it converts the Gold to Ultimate as well. Since 12 months of Gold is equal in price to 4 months of Ultimate, that is what it converts it to. In order to use a full 12 month Gold card, you have to either cancel your Ultimate subscription or let it fully expire before adding the new card.
