    Forgot Parental passcode


    after buying an xbox one for my son for xmas I thought I would move his old xbox360 down stairs to the living room however when I try to watch anything on it the parent passcode window pops up, this is something I did set up when he got it 3 years ago
    and for the life of me I can't remember what I had used for the code, is there a way I can reset the code? and if this means contacting Microsoft does any one know what the number is? Thanks in advance for any help given. Spinier

    I recently got xbox live for my 11 year old son. I tried to play a dvd in the xbox 360 for the first time since getting xbox live and it won't let me play the movie unless I enter a parental control passcode, which I do not remember ever entering. What do

    If you have forgot it then you would need to call Xbox Support as they are the only ones that can reset it.

    Are you referring to the Parental Passcode on the console, or are you saying you forgot the password to the WLID associated with the Parent Account?

    Hello,

    If you do not remember the passcode that you put in when you first setup the parental controls and you do not know the reset question answer then you will need to contact phone support to get the passcode reset manually.

    Disarmed - for future reference it would be better for you to create a new thread detailing your issue instead of bumping an older one.

    If your parents have forgotted the passcode for the parental controls they will need to contact phone support for your region for more assistance.
