Forgot Email/Password but still logged onto my Xbox One.

I truly apologies that you have to go through this. But unfortunately, the Microsoft Account Recovery form is the only way you can recover an account.

Help with the Microsoft account recovery form.

I understand that this is not the answer you were looking for, but it is the only valid answer. If you contact Microsoft support you will be told the same thing. Microsoft Support cannot reset your password or provide a link to reset your password.

In the previous link it is indicated:

"A customer support advocate won't be able to help you beyond what you can do for yourself in the form. To protect your account and its content, advocates aren't allowed to change account details or send password reset links."

I suggest you try to fill out the account recovery form again. It is possible to fill the form twice a day. If you are having trouble with the recovery request, you can always create a new account and try again later when you remember something new that might help.

In the online form, you will be asked about the subject lines of the emails you have recently sent from your account, your date of birth, your credit card information and other details that only you can know. You don't need to know all the answers. If you don't know the exact answer, just give a close answer.

Well, log onto Xbox.com with the email and click the link "Forgot Password".

It'll send an email to the email linked to that gamertag to change the password.

Well if your parent forgot their password, you could simply have them try and do an email recovery/reset.

Have them go on this site, enter their email and select I forgot my password. All they would have to do is log onto their email account and follow the steps listed in the email.

Hi there, sounds like you actually used the wrong email when setting up the Xbox One because if you used the same email and password as you do on the 360 it would be the same gamertag, there is no linking, it's just automatic, much like how we sign onto
this website with the same email and password.

The fastest way to confirm you're using the correct email is to log back onto the 360 and check up the top right hand corner where your email should flash up every so often. If not, you can use the following link to help:

Tried it, and its still saying " the email adress or password isnt valid." which it is because I can use it to log onto this wesite, and I reset my password again and its still not working?
