Forceful Name change

Today I o

log into Xbox live just to see my name go from GenocidalGod to SillyPup, I checked my messages and apparently my name is inappropriate. So I decide ok they could have warned me, so I go to change my gamertag, expecting to have a free name change and no,
I still have to pay ten dollars, I find this very upsetting, I would have gladly changed my name if I was warned.

Changed my gamertag mistakenly.

I explained my problem to the XBOX support team and they refer me to post my issue here so it can be forceful changed.

The problem happened when I input my email account into a ZUNE device which belonged to my friend. Later he input his name () by mistake and automatically used my free change option. Now I never gave my password nor I received any email confirmation
to agree to this change. I really would like to change it since I want to use the services of XBOX on my computer with my current email.

if you cannot see why that isn't allowed maybe you should READ the code of conduct

the code of conduct is very very clear about such subjects

•Do not create a Gamertag, profile content, Avatar content, in-game content, videos, or any other content that other users may be offended by. This includes, without limitation, anything related to or suggestive of:

◦Topics or content of a sexual nature

◦Hate speech

◦Illegal drugs or controlled substances

◦Controversial religious topics

◦Notorious people or organizations

◦Sensitive current or historical events

You can try going to http://enforcement.xbox.com and submit a case review. If the enforcement team overturns their decision, you will be allowed to change it. Otherwise, you would
have to pay if you want to change it to something you want. The free change policy was changed several years ago when too many people abused the option.
