    I tried to log into minecraft today with my usual email address, but instead of logging me in it prompted me to create a new account so i did. now i can't even log onto xbox app on windows 10 for this account because every single time i try this email adress it tells me im offline, which i am not. whenever i try to log in with a different email adress it works perfectly fine, so creating a new xbox account with an email which has an existing one must be causing the problem.

    I didn't have a phone number setup with the account until now nor did i have a recovery email. but thanks for the help anyways, is there no way to contact microsoft support directly to get this issue resolved?

    If there is still a phone or alternate email address to the old account (which the hacker probably just changed the email address, and not deleted it), then you might be able to recover it. But if the hacker already changed the alternate email address or phone from the hacked account, than nothing can be done.

    I just corrected it. Please check. If the options above do not work, you will not be able to recover your account. Sorry about this.

    You can use the "All available" option inside "Ordered within" to see your orders there. If your orders are not showing there, I'm starting to believe your Microsoft account got hacked and deleted. And now you just created another one with the same email address.

    You cannot create a Xbox profile on an account that already has a Xbox profile. The Xbox profile is part of your Microsoft account. You cannot have two profiles on one Microsoft account and you also cannot transfer a Xbox profile to another Microsoft account.

    If you sign in on the Minecraft website (https://minecraft.net) using your Microsoft account, does it show your usual username/gamertag? Does it show you own the editions of Minecraft you have purchased?

    Also, when you sign in on the Xbox website (https://account.xbox.com/profile), does it show your correct gamertag?
