Forced to change password

Hi Tommy,

Thank you. I can try the authenticator but two step can not be used or I can't sign in to my 360. I used to have two step active and never had an issue but then after trying for over an hour to sign into my 360 I removed it to discover the tech is so old for the console that the newer methods of account protection didn't seem to work.

The 360 certainly was an issue. However, after changing my password this last time, the one that prompted this thread, i resigned into all my platforms and accounts without issue. So I can't verify if the authenticator works with the 360. If your saying it will I have no reason to doubt that. If this happens again and a change is required I'll attempt the authenticator and report back. As it stands, my initial frustration has subsided and all seems to be well at the moment. Thank you so much for assisting me.

Does the issue of getting suspicious activity message happened when you signed in with your Xbox 360 or you are having difficulty signing in to your Xbox 360 when two-step verification method is used?

If using Microsoft authenticator app will stop getting suspicious activity notification, let us know so we can move forward.
