Forced Mixer/GP and advertising

Why why why do you spam me so bad Microsoft? I pay for Gold, why is that not enough? Why do you force players to have the Mixer and Gamepass menus? I don't want them, I don't want to see them. I don't want to see pre release info or sponsored content. When
I start my Xbox up, all I want is to start my Xbox up... every update is looking more and more like a click bait plagued website. I do not care about new movies or television shows, I don't care much for the community menu either. Can my home screen just be
a home screen? Can I mod my Xbox so it's not like a Facebook/Twitter feed anymore? 50% of my Xbox is now spam... Seriously considering either getting rid of Gold or my Xbox all together. Please stop treating me like a customer walking through the mall getting
hounded by all those kiosk workers.

Does Anyone Care About Xbox One Achievements Unrelated To Games?

It's form of advertising. When you are checking your friend(s) achievements, you are forced to see those "achievements" along with the ap's name.

Yeah all this advertising is getting far too much. Its ruined YouTube aswell. Its just cheap and nasty to have products forced in your face all the time. Ruins any experience.

Hmm...I don't have this issue. I never thought of it TBH. I use and enjoy Mixer, but don't focus on the advertising. I guess I look right past it to the games and streamers I follow. Hopefully, your Mixer experience gets more pleasurable for you.

Understand how frustrating this can be for those with no interest at all. Mixer is having a huge advertising push at the moment with some huge streamers having moved over. Hopefully the version of the dashboard coming will be better for you.

I would recommend reading over how to provide feedback to the team here, and let them know how you feel. They are currently working on a refresh of the dashboard that's in the Insider
builds now, so you'll likely see them change in the future.
