Forced Crossplay

This should be something that is surveyed among the entire Xbox community. I have noticed my enjoyment in certain titles mostly shooters has dropped to where I can’t even play them because I feel like I’m at a disadvantage being forced to play against a more advanced system. I think crossplay is great, I think it’s a must have as a option, but only as a option and an option you yourself have to opt in to in settings. The option should be disabled by default. I know the response is you can turn it off, but there are not enough players collectively doing this at the same time to find matches. I encourage Xbox to think about the long term affects of this decision to force crossplay, myself and others have thought about buying a pc since were being forced on every game now to play with PC players. I have multiple friends who have played Xbox with me for over 10 years, buy a pc in the past 2 years and sold their Xbox, forced crossplay might be the death of console.

Doesn't Microsoft OWN activision? Why would they not do it in the first place?

Microsoft is not the developer of modern warfare II, it's Activision. You can share this feedback with them here:
https://support.activision.com/options
Hopefully they can change their mind and give us the option to enable or disable crossplay

ok, so you think you are disadvantaged playing against pc players, what about those on xbox one playing against those on series x, you have better performance, higher frame rates, they better make it so they can also turn off crossplay with series x too and series s as even that has better performance than xbox one but not as good as series x so they should wall all three versions off.

don't say oh it's keyboard and mouse as people use them on consoles too.

Nope, the deal is not closed.
Also, even if they own Activision. Activision is going to be a completely different company.

Like Mojang, Microsoft owns it but they have their own support , webpage, etc

No. Microsoft is in the process of trying to buy Activision. The sale hasn't gone through yet.
