Forced cross play

I don't understand why Microsoft put the cross play option within the settings??

Not many players know about it, soo less players turned it off, meaning no lobbies and matchmaking for games like halo battlefield warzone etc

At least put it off as a default

On PlayStation is very easy from the game it self

I don't understand who behind this decision

The problem is not just call of duty.

Even battlefield 2042 and halo.

Its literally forced cross play.

If u turn it off, u cant join any match with constant annoying cross play notification unless u turn it on.

If the reason is on cod developers side, so why turning off cross play works perfectly fine on PlayStation 5 ? Even bf2042 works perfectly fine on PlayStation5 after turning off the cross play ??!

if your discussion call of duty, that is always been up to the developer how to implement various features as always up to the developer

Microsoft had no influence over this year's call of duty. they were legally prohibited to, and a month is nowhere near enough time to implement any structural changes

Forced cross play should never be a thing and is a disgraceful act by Microsoft. It should always be the peoples choice to enable it or not. This is why I will be switching to PlayStation.

I watched an interview with Phill Spencer a while ago saying “We will never force players into playing cross play, that decision will be up to the player.” Yeah ok…

You can meanwhile disable cross play through Xbox settings but if you are partied up with just one friend, it will kick you from matchmaking, there for forcing you to ‘allow’ cross play.

i can understand forced cross play being in the first titles that support cross play, but as more and more come up then it will be more available to disable cross play due to input device etc.....
