    Forced Battlefield 4 update results in crash/unresponsive system


    I have not played my xbox one for a while and I loaded up battlefield 4 today. When I click to load the game it forces me to an update screen, when I try and press any button to proceed with the update the console does not respond. No buttons respond, even
    when I re-sync. I Have tried to turn the console off 3 times and waited around 5 minutes to press accept but nothing happens.

    So basically battlefield 4 is unplayable and my xbox one is glitched as hell?

    Any other way that I can download the software updates away from this screen? Any why is my system doing this?

    MS, What have you done?!?

    Since the new system update Battlefield 4 doesn't crash, disconnected and kicks me out from the servers. so i'm presuming it had nothing to with Battlefield and ea servers.

    Xbox 360 = Pathetic? Can't run BF4 to save its life!

    I have the same system and am a big fan of Battlefield since BF2.

    I have also paid for Premium on BF3 and BF4.

    I also like my console too.

    I am also having exactly the same problems as is a friend.

    The problems seem to be much worse now since the march 2014 multiplayer game update.

    I have just tried the fix below and had a few games but locked up again mid game.help.ea.com/.../troubleshooting-crashes-and-graphical-issues-with-the-latest-battlefield-4-game-update

    When you tried to powercycle the console did you do so by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down? If not, give that a try.
