I posted this on the Xbox Series X subreddit, but felt it would perhaps be more helpful here.

Check this link for an example video that demonstrates the issue. Like I said, I've noticed it for years on at least 5 different pieces of Xbox hardware, and it seems many others have also noticed this. I'd venture to say it effects everyone, but some are less sensitive to it than others.

For me, it makes the OS feel less polished, even if everything is quite smooth. Sound effects really can have that impact on the whole experience, and they take me out of it when this happens. Here's a direct link to the video in the above linked thread. https://youtu.be/S7D_eQPGQ9A

good game, as others have said a little glitchy, audio cut outs, also played several games online and had background music but no sound effects.

If by glitchy you mean people prone laying halfway into solid walls and sounds cutting out during the entire match then yes. I have experienced these things as well.

Well, now there are other things to report.

Signing in when I first start up is now slower. First it signs into xbox live, then it shows it's signing into the HDD, then the signed into live thing pops up again.

I noted in Batman Arkham City during the cut scenes the audio sometimes is oddly crackly and almost sounds like it skips at times even though this game was downloaded and installed.

Also, after playing for about an hour I returned to the XBox menu and several panels were just blank and gray.
