FOR THOSE WHOS CONTROLLER INPUT DOESNT WORK ON TITLE SCREENS

Theyre both older tvs (mot smart) so i wouldnt see how they would have updates. And as for the black screen, that doesnt work because its not a black screen, its just as if no one plugged anytbing into the tv, its like theres no input in the tv (yes both
are plugged in) theres no black screen outputting from the xbox, its the tv saying hdmi (as in its on the hdmi selection but theres no input)

capcom doesnt care, they have something good but *** out the title because they know fans will buy any crap....i also lost my fave zombie game too....but i am aslo one of those fan who will buy because of the title name.........but if re6 doesnt do it justice
or if they kill any of the older charecters mainly chris it might push me to stop buying.

i think this chen dude is looking at things the correct way. a lot of people look at kinect and scratch their heads thinking how will this make the games i already play more fun.

if the xbox controller was forced on NES games you would say the same thing. but that doesnt mean the xbox controller is a bad controller. it just means the NES games didnt require the input an xbox one controller was capable of.

our current idea of games doesnt require the input a kinect 2.0 is capable of. that doesnt mean it is a bad input device and there never will be great games for it. it just means you haven't thought of them yet. much like you probably never thought of a
FPS or RTS back in the 80s.

I just bought a controller today and ran into the same issues - I have some input that may help. I downloaded an app that tracks my keystrokes to see exactly what inputs the controller is sending. Both the Xbox Guide Button and A button are sending the following MOUSE inputs:

LButton (left mouse button)
XButton2 (second "extra" mouse button)

It's interesting because it's not actually behaving as if I'm pressing either of those buttons, but for some reason both Steam and Xbox Game Bar were responding as if I pressed the Xbox Guide button. I turned off both the Game Bar and Steam and the controller is working as expected, BUT every time I press the A button, all my on-screen button icons change to mouse/keyboard inputs because the LButton and XButton2 inputs are mouse inputs. An improvement, but still annoying.

its an absolute joke. I just downloaded and attempted to play the ff9 remake from microsoft store (I'm paying monthly sub for a game pass).

Can't play the jump rope game or the sword fight between zidane and blank at all. also all button inputs in game are in xbox controller without any option to change to keyboard inputs or key to transcribe between the two. So when I am asked to push "x" on
xbox controller i am left to guess what input to press, and then it doesnt work anyway due to input lag/ghost inputs. Completely scandal and unplayable.
