so if your wanting to stream on Twitch directly through your xbox one with a webcam, there are some requirements.

First off if you own the Xbox One you will need the Kinect, it is the only way to do it through Twitch.

If you have the One S, or the One X you will need a Kinect Adapter for these two specific consoles. Now it is important to note that the adapter that Microsoft made is discontinued. To buy one of these will have to be from a second hand store or you can
buy an off brand item. Know that the official adapter runs online for around 200$-300$ because some people are ridiculous. Granted if you want to stream on MIXER you can use most USB webcams and will not need an adapter. Will Microsoft or Twitch eventually
make something easier for us Xbox owners? It sadly has been quite on their ends, but my eyes are on the horizon hoping. Until then hopefully this will update the newer streamers or future streamers that want to stream directly through their console with a
webcam.

Twitch stream with 3rd cam

Well hello!

Does anyone know if you can stream to twitch yet with a 3rd party webcam? Or is it still only Mixer? I ask before I go and spend out on a webcam for streaming.

I'm also an streamer, on Twitch/Mixer and YouTube.

How do you stream, through Software on your PC also, or directly from Xbox?

If you doing it through XBox Direct by Twitch App.

Check if you can access your Account on PC at Twitch

Check if you can log in if you can find the issue there.

Is your Link with Mixer still connected in Twitch.

When you Broadcast in multiple Stream Communities, you need the URL and Stream Code to link those accounts.

Or this is done Automatically by the Software, check those.

When you are using software like OSB.

Check if the links are also still there connected and well.

Based on your information that you able to use your webcam on the WebCam Pip app on Xbox. What we can highly recommend for this is to directly contact the Twitch support because it might be there is a configuration needs to be done for you to be able to use your Webcam on Twitch.

Unfortunately, the twitch app for xbox is really not the beet way to stream as it is quite outdated. Best case scenario would be separate pc for streaming/webcam capture, but if you dont have that your options are limited. On mixer, you can use most webcams,
but the twitch app has great difficulty in recognizing cameras that are not the kinect. As others have mentioned, there may be ways around this, but it can be difficult if doing everything solely through the app.

Are you streaming to Mixer or Twitch directly from your Xbox?

Do you have a USB webcam plugged in while you stream?

We've seen some instances where the Xbox One console would shut off while streaming on Mixer with a USB webcam plugged in. Let us know if this applies to you.
