    Ok I did do that and now I still can't get it to recognize my wifi and get the same message. Except now it's saying I need an update and it won't let me passed this step until I can connect...

    I have the same thing, I can't get online, and I know my wifi password, and it won't take it. Going to try with a wired connection and see if that helps. Searching that error code gets no results on the help page either.

    I am having an issue where I can't run a mandatory update. I get an error message saying that I need to connect to the internet. I have tried hard resetting my console I have connected the console through a hard line to the internet as well as using WIFI.

    The status code says its something with its Live connection, which could be as annoying as "I need to connect to LIVE to download the update! but... I can't connect to LIVE without the update... but I need to connect to download the update! But I can't connect
    without the update..." over and over again.
