Flight simulator weird shadow glitch

Hi Z06LifeLT4, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

It can be a game glitch or a hardware problem, that's why performing troubleshooting steps is a must.

First, check if other games will have the same issue. If yes, you may need to perform a reset on your console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

If this is the only game, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the game.

It may sound weird, but Microsoft Flight Simulator, and all the games people have mentioned

Hello again, this is really weird Tyson, even more so if it only happens with Microsoft flight simulator and doesn't happen with the other XCloud games.

Some glitches like this have been caused by a faulty GPU. Hope that's not the case.

(Forza was a good example, had weird shadowing and patterning.)

Flight Simulator X isn't. That is an old game. However Microsoft Flight Simulator is.
