Flight Simulator on PC won't load/launch

I recently downloaded Microsoft Flight Simulator on my PC via game pass. However, when I try to launch it, it shows a black screen for only a few seconds before closing itself again. I've tried restarting, logging back in and out but it just won't go past this blank screen. I downloaded Among Us via game pass to see if that would work and it does. My PC is capable of running it so I don't know what the issue is.

Hello,

I got a similar problem and after 2 months !! I found this on the FS FAQ site which solved my problem:

""First, ensure you have the US English Language Pack installed for Apps & Websites.

Select the Start button, then select Settings > Time & Language
Go to Speech > Manage Voice
Click on + Add voices
In the search bar type "English"
Install the English (United States) Language Pack

If you install MSFS without this pack, the install will hang.""

I can play Among US which is also downloaded via game pass, so I think it is only flight simulator. I tried loading the game again today and it started to load up for the first time but when it got to the opening screen it closed itself again.

Sorry to know that the issue still persist. May I ask you are you facing this issue only with Flight Simulator?
