Flight Simulator 2020 Stuck on Set Your Experience

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue but I downloaded the software to my C drive and when is was complete I hit Continue, then a screen that says "Welcome, set your game experience" comes up with Graphics, Services, Control Settings and Assistance
greyed out. I left it for over 10 minutes and it continues to do nothing though I can see in Task Manager it is using memory and CPU time. I tried closing and restarting same result. I also tried closing, restarting the computer and restarting, again same
result. I do not know if the program is downloading (I can see the ethernet at 8-16kbs for Flight Sim) or what is going on. Do I need to delete and start over or just let it run?

I was able to get passed the problem by hitting the "back" selection on the screen a couple of times.

This is so poor for such and expensive game. And for that price there should be way of directly getting support rather than being forced to trawl the internet looking for answers. Why is no one from Microsoft responding here at least?.

I'm very disappointed , I also have the same problem and none of the proposed resolutions work . I bought the physical premium deluxe version and after installing 10 dvds, another 19 gigabytes of data were downloaded online with errors and continuous blocks
during the update phase. almost 10 hours of installation . to result stuck on "set your experience". Well my "experience" configured is a complete frustation and loss of money. Of course we will now wait for the patch hoping it will resolve ...maybe 70 80
giga of patches . Thanks Microsoft

You shouldnt have to do anything for a game made by microsoft. I expect to buy a fame and it works.....end of
