Flight Simulator 2020 - Saved games and *.spb files problem (crashes).

Hello,

I can not load 8 of 10 of my saved games. It loads the saved progress, but when I click "Ready to fly", it instantly crashes (with the error c0000005).

If I delete the *.spb file from the saved games directory, the game loads ok, but misses lots of data (as ingame map, the whole custom toolbar, navigation data etc.)

I've tried to decompile the spb file to xml with the spb2xml tool made for FSX, but it doesn't work with FS2020.

Does anyone have an idea, what can be wrong, or at least have the same issue?

I've thried all the common methods, trying to fix it, such as extending paging file size, runnyng as administrator, updating direvers etc.

Hello! Thanks for your reply. Kindly also check if your PC to meet the minimum system requirements. If not, the Flight Simulator 2020 may keep crashing. You can check that here: https://www.flightsimulator.com/save-the-date-0.... You can try repairing the app via the Microsoft Store.

Type Microsoft Flight Simulator in the Windows search box and click on App settings from the right menu. Scroll down to the page and click on Repair if available. If it is not here, click on Reset. If Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 crashing still appears, you can continue to scroll down the page and click on Uninstall. After that, open File Explorer and locate the C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator path to delete any leftover files/folders. Then you can clean-reinstall the app.

A C0000005 error is memory error. Specifically, a C0000005 error is an access violation error caused by a buffer overrun.
