When will Flight Simulator 2020 be released on DVD in the United States?

I know I can purchase a digital download.

I know European Customers can purchase a DVD set.

I know there currently isn't a DVD purchase option in the United States.

'There isn't a DVD purchase option' is not an acceptable answer. I want to know when it will be available in the U.S.

I, like many others, would like to know when the dvds will become available for purchase in the USA. With all the hype and videos I've seen on the web I would be happier than a fly on a new pile of ---- to be able to load the dvds and fly this long awaited
simulation.

Microsoft partnered with Aerosoft to bring the discs out in europe, i don't think a retail deal was ever made for elsewhere.

But a lot of pre orders for the discs were cancelled as you use disc one and it installs the launcher then downloads the latest files.

To actually keep using the game you need dvd 1 in the system at all times to use the game to authenticate.

Not what they were looking for- that's only digital downloads of FS 2020.

Thats interesting. Assuming that the digital download edition has a similar mechanism, I wonder if it wont open while you're offline?
