flight simulator 2020 crashes during the update check

Hello,

I bought FS 2020 deluxe and I was able to install it through the windows store.

At the first launch, it was possible to download the 95Gb of updates packages then to configure the flight configuration, BUT right now I am unable to launch FS2020: it crashs during the scrolling bar process of the update

in my case I was running FS2020 on a desktop PC with a AMD Radeon card GPU: Radeon R5-M320 with radeon 20.8.3

but by looking at the full replies in the links I guess that the solution is related to the DX11 package used instead of newer one like DX12 also available on my machine.

I will "link' FS2020 to this graphic card and see if I can modify some options?

are you using a laptop?

i have same problem, seems like a nvidia driver issue. i can only run MSFS2020 successfully with using the laptop integrated intel graphic driver. which of course render the game useless but of poor graphic performance, but at least it does not crash.
