Flatmate's Xbox won't turn on - advice appreciated

Hi,

The other night, me and my friend came in from a night out. The next morning, my flatmate (not the one I went out with) found water on the floor and by his Xbox. He moved his Xbox to his room and it turned on and has been working fine for 6 days. It now won't turn on suddenly - is this likely due to the water?

For the record, I don't believe we even had any water that night by the Xbox as we came in, had pizza and went to bed. But I just wanted to ask if this is likely to be due to water, or another reason?

Any advice appreciated

If the console doesn't turn on now, exist the possibility that the water (even if was just a bit) damaged the console.

In this case the best option is disconnect it as soon as possible and get it inspected or repaired in the closest authorized retailer or electronic repair shop

I did try it with a different profile too, my flatmates. No dice, again. :-(

So I power cycled my Xbox and it managed to connect immediately and even changed the wifis names (much to the flatmates annoyance) and it connected immediately thanks

A good exclusive to the Xbox 360 if your into raceing games is Forza. Forza 4 is due out 14th October but you can still pick up Forza 3 if you want to play now.
