    Whenever I signed into Xbox Live I had an advert saying I could get 12 months Gold for around £26, a month before my subscription ends. I was going to get it today (even before my previous year ended) but it was gone and asks me to now pay £39.99. My Live
    is due to expire May 1st. I've been a loyal customer to Xbox Live since 2009 and have had very little time in the past 8 years where I haven't had an Xbox Live Gold account.

    I've got better things to do than hunt daily for a promotion that should have be there.

    Sea of Thieves Pre-Order Promotion that wasn't....again.

    I am very aggravated that Microsoft continues to promise promotions for pre-orders, we jump through hoops to get in on the promotion for our kids and again we get left high and dry.

    Hey Microsoft "news flash" stop counting your chickens before they're hatched, it leaves parents like me really aggravated.

    Not fully true Ownage. I'm not bothered about the flash thing either, personally but if Microsoft are accepting money from Ford to promote this then they've made a mistake. Their contest should be fully accessible through the Xbox, i'm pretty sure if Ford
    realize, they're gonna want their money back but that's down to they two.

    I bought the 4GB Kinect Slim when Gamestop was having a promotion where they would throw in a $100 gift card which I then used to buy the 320GB HDD drive and I sold my Pro console to them for another $100 as they had a promotion for $40 dollars extra on
    any console trade in for store credit. I know games and the guide load a lot faster than my 60GB 360Pro model. I don't think there is any optimization to say store the core 360 OS on the 4GB internal flash and keep game content, avatars, etcetera on the HDD.
    Only benefit is storing a copy of saves on the internal flash, but now with the cloud even that doesn't really matter and I had a flash drive for save backups. I even kept the hard drive because they would only give me 4 bucks for it so a bunch of my saves
    are on that as well. Gave it to a friend later after the cloud feature came out.

    Save the money and buy a 250GB Slim unless you find a deal like the one I mentioned.

    When you plugin the USB Flash Drive to your computer that folder is meant to be hidden for a reason. If you pull any content from that folder (or the folder itself) off of that flash drive onto your PC it will corrupt the data automatically. If you're in a
    situation where you're running low on space, it's best to simply purchase the games via the Games with Gold promotion and it's not necessary for you to download them immediately. You can access them as long as you've purchased the content license via your
    download history (Dashboard > Settings > Account > Download History).
