FL1-R story quest glitch

I collected the parts for the FL1-R frame and on my way to the work bench to build it I died. Once I made my way back to the workbench it wouldn't let me build it even though I still have all 4 parts. I fast traveled back to my crawler to see if I
could build it there but I could not find a way to do so. I traveled back to The Warren and not only was I still not allowed to build the FL1-R but my mission objective in the top right corner had completely changed and I now had two different indicators for
my current mission. One indicator was at the workbench and the other was at the door that I was suppose to go to after building the FL1-R. This is the 2nd time I've hit a glitch like this. I have no intentions of starting over. Either get a fix for this soon
or I want a refund.

I am experiencing the same glitch, except I left after opening the workbench without selecting a companion to change frames (I had Seth and Duncan with me, but I wanted to change Mack). Instead, I return to the workbench in The Warren and cannot interact
with it.

 

I had the same thing happen to me. I went back to the crawler to get MAC and empty my inventory. Returned to fine two green waypoint markers but I can no longer interact with the workbench in the Warren. Don't even get me started on the fact that not a
single achievement has popped!

 

The very same thing happened to me just this evening. Can't interact with the workbench after finding all the parts for FL1-R. There's no way in hell I'm restarting with how much there is to collect across the game already. Extremely disappointed. I thought
AAA titles were above this kind of idiocy by now.

 

What if you do like a side dungeon and then go back to that area and go the dungeon again. Have you tried that?

 

@radracer01: Thanks for your suggestion but unfortunately it didn't work; the map still shows multiple objective markers for each of the chests where I'd found a FL1-R piece. Even tried building it in the Crawler but you can't do that, presumably until you
build it at The Warren's workbench for the story first.

The developers are allegedly working on another patch for the 4th of October that will hopefully fix more issues, but I'm not holding my breath.

 

With the recent patch, the glitch in The Warren is now even worse. Not only is the workbench to build the flier still not accessible, but the flood of objective markers remains and the mission objective itself now no longer even states that I am even in
The Warren to begin with.

I've tried doing another dungeon and then coming back to check again, and the mission objective is now stuck at reaching Eden Tower without having been able to build the flier as originally prompted. It's now impossible to proceed with the game. I'd rather
not have to start a new file after the 20 hours I've already sunk into the game, but at this point it seems there's no other choice. I don't trust the developer in the slightest.
