    Fixing stiggy triggers


    if you are getting a bit of resistance when you pull down on the triggers as if they are sticky i know how to fix it permanently without oppening the controller

    The sticky feeling is caused by the buffing rubber sponge that stops the trigger hitting up against plastic

    All you have to do is grab some of the fluff from a q tip roll it into a thin string and puch it down the inner side of the trigger it help to use a poppy pin to push it down. It might take an attempt or to but eventually it will fit itself between the plastic
    of the trigger and the sponge. It will not effect your trigger in anyway itll just make it supper smooth. Iv done it woth over 10 controllers all perfect no issues.

    I can attatch pictures if you wanna see how its done. I just wanna help cause i was annoyed by this issue for a good 8 month's

    Controller vibration stopped working on 2 different controllers

    Same here - I have control where first the impulse triggers stopped working at first, now vibration in the whole control has stopped... I don't think the control is broke - I think it's a bug that needs fixing.

    Will Scorpio have a new controller?

    Hope they do a redesign fixing the sticks,triggers and bumpers making them more like the 360 controller.

    Sorry to hear about what happened. Let's do our best to get this sorted out.

    When did that issue start to occur? Could you please try to connect your controller using a USB cable if the issue still persists? Don't forget to check for controller updates.
    it just started randomly I tried a USB cord and it kept happening any ideas what to do from here.

    Thank you for trying. Try to power cycle your controller. Turn it off, remove batteries, wait for at least a minute before turning it back on.

    If you’re able to navigate through your console settings, try to reset your mapping.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    Under Profile & system, select Settings.
    Under Devices & connections, select Accessories.
    On the Xbox Wireless Controller, select Restore to default.

    You could as well try it on PC if it does the same thing.

    Make sure that you already checked for controller updates.

    If it’s still doing the same, I am afraid your controller needs replacement already.

    Xbox Elite Controller 2 short trigger issues

    I just got my controller, and it has exactly the same issue: the shortest triggers just won't work. Updating the firmware doesn't help. I think it's because the default trigger dead zone is too large - it's even larger than the shortest trigger. And hence
    the triggers simply fail. Hope this can be fixed by upgrading the firmware in the future but not a design flaw.
