Game bar doesn't work on my pc, it is installed and I tried everything to fix it with no results.

The system doesn't allow me to uninstall it, and when I try to repair the app, nothing works after.

When I go to the start menu and click on the app, nothing happened.

I goto settings and the app is enabled, and I checked all the settings to ensure they are correct.

I tried to uninstall the app but it doesn't uninstall. I am at my whit's end, please help.

Hi! I don't know if and where to look within the registry, but have you looked in the game bar settings (Windows 10 Settings -> Gaming -> Game bar)? These links might help as well:

What do you mean by doesn't work? The options are greyed out?

When you said about uninstalling it, are you referring to delete the app via Apps and features, or using the powershell command below:

Right-click on the Start button and select Windows PowerShell (Admin) from the pop-up menu.

Copy and paste the following command in PowerShell and hit Enter to uninstall the Game Bar from your system.

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay | Remove-AppxPackage

Now head over to Microsoft Store and search for Xbox Game Bar and see if you're able to install it now
