    Hello everyone, so my Xbox Series S 1TB was giving me Black screens every few seconds for no aparent reason, i tried changing the hdmi cable, reseting the console, going into low resolution Mode basically everything i could find on the Internet and nothing helped, so after hours of fidlling around i found a setting that lets you use custom settings on your tv so i went in there and choer the proper resolution and forced it to stay at that resolution and again nothing happend but then next to that setting there is a setting for the screens colours so i tried the 8 bit, nothing happend, i tried the 10 bit nothing happend and then i tried the 12 bit and all of a sudden everything Just seemed more clear the flickering and Black screens stopped and everything is working smoothly as before.

    So go to settings>general>TV & display options>Video fidelity & overscan>(under Video fidelity) color depth and try all settings until it stops doing it and maybe even try the color space setting it help.

    Nah, I'm having this problem on multiple tv's. The only difference is that on MY tv the screen goes black every once in a while and has glitchy lines going across the screen randomly, on the living room tv the screen just never goes to the xbox menu or anything, it just says no signal and nothing happens and on my kitchen tv there are no glitchy lines but the screen goes black like every other second...

    Hello Rahl33,

    I have seen the same issue with my Xbox One S. It seemed to happen more when playing Halo 5 ...? I did change out and started using a different HDMI cable. And, it seems to have cleared up (stopped) for now ...? If it starts happening again I may try resetting
    my console back to factory defaults.

    Hello,

    Hopefully this problem gets resolved with speed for you.

    I would like to ask, did you test the console on 1 other TV, or multiple?

    I ask this because it may not necessarily be a problem with the xbox or cable, but could instead be a problem with the HDMI port on the TV itself if it is only 1 TV you are having the problem with.

    The port itself may be visibly damaged if you are able to take a look at it.
