To give you some advice on the real life side, you would have to check with your local and state laws relating to returns. Some places may consider this fraud. Now on the retail end most retail stores and xbox track serial numbers on xboxs. Assuming it's
an xbox your talking about. When a return is attempted on a console the original serial number is scanned from the console itself. Then determined if it is within return policy or warranty. So basically it would be a rejected return. Many states and cities
do not have laws regarding this type of return. Basically when items are returned like this the retail store eats the cost because xbox will not cover a bad return by a retail establishment. End game? This drives costs up in stores due to money loss.

It's called fraud and I'd suggest not doing it at all. Part of you knows it's wrong or you wouldn't be asking.

Nope its just peeps who make up these stories who spam why i got banned without thinking to themselves how and why they get banned. theyre the type of people who get into trouble with the law. if they can even follow simple rules.

Asking for refunds will never get your account banned. The most that can happen is for a refund to be denied or to reach your refund limit.

Nothing more than that
