    ITS really PISSING ME OFF to an obnoxious level! That a big company like you guys cannot allow Nvidia for example to have shadowplay working on forza. Rendering the sharing function within shadowplay useless and in the end ruining the gaming experience for
    many. Now i know that you, windows. do not give a flying damn about customer happiness for a fact so i know writing this in the end is a complete waste of time. BUT SERIOUSLY what in the hell is point of ruining your already **** reputation for customers? In
    blocking every major company from having their programs work just so your useless XBOX DVR doesnt have any competition.

    And this is a fact. XBOX DVR Is the most broken and most useless thing encountered since the f**** Lada.

    BUT HEY; if you guys wanna be off help for once that would be absolutely tremendous. so.....................................

    Allow for example Nvidia to have shadowplay and its share function to work.

    Game DVR Windows 10 Update, Microphone Quality now Poor

    Thanks for your reply, I'm still having issues after trying all possible fixes including your suggested ideas.

    I spoke to a tech team agent and after deleting the app using PowerShell and testing both the Windows 10 Xbox App and Beta version the issue still persists.

    We tried several other fixes but to no avail, this exclusively an issue with the Xbox in Game DVR recording when recording commentary using a microphone, the audio quality on the microphone is of a poor quality when playing back the recording. I tested several
    microphones but the poor quality still exists. The in-game audio recording is fine.

    This is not an issue with hardware my side. When I used other recording software such as Microsoft Voice Recorder the audio quality is perfect, as it was before the Windows 10 Xbox One App update last week. I've also tried two different computers and I'm
    having the same issue. Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Microsoft should just do it and bury the hatchet to stop this damn stupid rivalry / argument with Valve.

    I mean Microsoft tries to lock off windows Vista,

    Valves Smashes Microsoft's windows live subscription gaming plans

    Valve wants to patch Left 4 dead to fix the broken maps they didn't have time to put in before release.

    MS tells valve thats not a patch and they have to charge for it.

    Etc Etc Etc..........

    Yeh it went on a fair way and still is with this windows 8 store nonsense.

    Hello, I'm Felipe and I'm an independent Community Expert, and I'll do my best to help you.

    The temporary data for background recordings in the Windows Game Bar is stored in the RAM of your computer and is not saved to disk. It is stored as a buffer in the memory, and the video is not saved to disk until you explicitly choose to save it by pressing Win + Alt + G and selecting "Save".

    Once you choose to save the recording, it is saved to a folder of your choice on your local disk. By default, the saved recordings are stored in the "Videos" folder in your "Documents" directory. You can change the default save location for the recordings by going to the Windows Game Bar settings and modifying the "Recorded videos" option.
