    Fix Xbox App. Not letting watch clips horizontally or save it to my phone


    I’ve been having this issue for a few months now. I used to be able to watch clips horizontally but now even after removing Lock Rotation (iPhone) and deleting and uninstalling the app it still won’t let me watch full screen. I also have the app updated to the latest version but still to no avail. Another problem I have is that it won’t let me save clips to my phone and will get the message “Sorry we can’t share this right now. Try again in a while”. There was one time where I was finally able to save it to my phone but after a week or so it went back to having an error. Anyone else having this problem?

    If its long gameplay videos, use OneDrive. If it's just short clips that you recorded on Xbox one, you can use the Xbox app and save the clips on your phone.

    The replacement for the Xbox Console Companion app is the Xbox app on Windows 10. To transfer your screenshots and videos, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open the Xbox app on your Windows 10 PC.
    2. Click the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner of the app to open the menu.
    3. Click "Captures" in the menu.
    4. Select the screenshot or video you want to transfer.
    5. Click the "Download" button to save the file to your PC.

    I'm AJ, an Independent Advisor for the Xbox Community.

    You can see your saved clips on the Xbox mobile app. To do so:

    - Download the Xbox mobile app
    - Sign in to your account
    - Go to Library > Captures
    - If you'd like to view clips only, tap on the filter icon and select "Game Clips".

    In addition to this, you could also see your captures by uploading them to OneDrive and installing the OneDrive app on your phone.
