    regular xbox game "serious sam" doesnt work?

    Serious Sam 2 is not backward compatible and updates to the emulator were stopped a few years ago now so you're out of luck. Another thing you need for backward compatibility is the official hard drive since that has the emulator on it.

    question about why xbox 360 games keep updating on xbox one

    Updates for backward compatibility is usually for game stability & to squash any emulator bugs.

    unable in some page cliking to change the video resolutions dont work or event tiping

    freeze ,. crash or page get black zooming or zoom out get glish and get black ect alot alot of error microsoft need to fix bro is the true ect

    Have you changed your gamertag recently? if so, another step to fix backward compatility issue is redownload your profile in the Xbox 360 emulator

    If it's not backward compatible then it's not backward compatible and never will be as they stopped updating the emulator years ago. The only Robotech game that is backward compatible is Battlecry.

    Have you tried to see if any other backwards compatible games will install?
    Hi,

    I tried this as suggested and weird as it may sound, it seems to have fixed the issue. From what I can figure is that the Fallout game wasn't triggering the emulator to install, just giving the backwards compatibility message.

    I inserted Fable 2, it installed the emulator and then I tried Fallout and it instantly downloaded..

    Thankyou everyone for your suggestions and help.
