Fix the Communication Ban Policy

When a message gets reported you all should READ the whole thread before banning one user! I recently just got communication banned because somebody was literally mad that I beat their team so he spammed me with profound insults back to back to back. Then
when I responded with one back, I immediately got banned. Like c'mon, if your going to take privileges away at least be fair enough to read the complete thread to get both of them. Your policy is broke..... YOU NEED TO UPDATE IT!

as the others said NOBODY other than the PET (policy enforcement team, who handle suspension and bans of accounts and console bans) can suspend or ban you, just report him, and BLOCK communications with that person, that is all you can and SHOULD do.

 

Someone has threatened to ban my account!!! HELP!!!

The only thing you can do is file a complaint and block communications with that person. The only people who can ban others are Policy Enforcement Team members, and that's not their method of banning people. The forums aren't a way to report people, so be
sure to file a complaint so the Policy Enforcement Team can review that user.

 

It is advised to not reply back, all you should have done is report and block.

 

If you have received a ban you can review it on enforcement.xbox.com and file a case review if eligible. The enforcement team does not use the forums.
