Fix My DOB

So I was told that I need a adult account to sign up for xbox live rewards but as of right now I am told my account is set for child due to changing DOB on my account because I was setting it for my account anyway you guys can help me out.

Dear JUAN VAN looks like you don't know anything about Microsoft policy! Because you are suggesting
https://account.live.com/ for DOB check! Did you know that:

1. Microsoft not allow change your gamertag DOB?

2. Did you know that you can change DOB anytime here -->
https://account.live.com/ <-- BUT it's not going to change your xbox live gamertag DOB!

So tell me if I already changed there my DOB how it's going to show me what exactly is my gamertag DOB?

 

Once you create an account, there is no way to change the date of birth on the account.

 

I thought the same thing but Microsoft staff said that it is possible. Contacted Microsoft yesterday

 

That may be something you would have to work with phone or chat support then. That's not something that can be handled via the forums and Reward support would not be able to change anything on your Xbox account.

We see that your current date of birth puts you beneath the current age requirement for our program. Since you are too young to register, you cannot join Xbox Live Rewards. We have no control over a user's Microsoft Account, and cannot assist in changing
a user's date of birth. You would have to contact Microsoft Support (support.xbox.com/contact-us) for assistance with that issue.
