    Hi guys and girls.

    I am on a series S using the series S controller.

    I see this has been a problem for many... But I have tried almost everything I have seen online, to no avail.

    I started experiencing controller disconnects whilst playing a game a couple months ago.... It would happen maybe once or twice a week but it has gotten progressively worse and it is now 3 to 4 times daily/every gaming session. It is terribly irritating having to quit out of an online game to cycle down the console just for it to MAYBE work. And even if it does work, the controller drops connection again.

    Symptoms :

    There seems to be input lag for a brief couple seconds, then after that MOST buttons become unresponsive. Trigger and analogues still work(most of the time) but nothing else. Sometimes some of the buttons but then soon after that they too stop working. Center button works aswell. If I remove the batteries and put them in again, try switch on, then the remote blinks very slowly(meaning it is not connected to anything) during this phase the Sync button on the remote does not work. Remove the batteries and try the above again multiple times eventually the sync button works. I then sync the Xbox and remote back up again, it connects very briefly then the remote powers down and vibrates twice. I have to repeat the above multiple times before eventually it connects and stays connected, just for it to drop again.

    I have tried using a USB cable to connect the remote, just for it to "connect" but most mutton's remain unresponsive.

    I am so surprised by this. I have had Xbox since the 360 and have NEVER experienced anything remotely like this. I am not sure if the problem is coming from the controller or my console.

    I cannot justify having to buy a new controller when it is not even a year old. (not according to warranty apparently as I have tried checking. Even though I bought the console less than a year ago, my console and remote are out of warranty????)

    Please someone help. I have not yet tried putting the console into power saving mode, I have read that this may help.

    Xbox one controller cuts out/disconnects **Continued Thread**

    Control was disconnecting for no reason. Now the Xbox itself connects to live, seconds later it disconnects, then moments later again connects and continues to do this with no imput to the system. Cannot do anything at this point because the malfunctions.
    It started with the controller disconnecting. Does anyone have any success stories of these problems being fixed?

    When you connect your controller it disconnect you from the internet?
    I tried 2 controllers. Both are disconnecting. And when they're both connected, I can see that they disconnect at the same time.

    Well, when I don't have any controller connected the Internet is disconnected too. When I stay on the Wi-Fi / Internet page, it says "No connection" with or without a controller connected. The controller is disconnected with the Internet, even when I don't
    have a Internet connection set up.

    I miss play GTA V... :(
