Fix: Connectify 2019 WiFi Hotspot and Xbox One

**For anyone having issues connecting their Xbox One or Xbox One X to the Wi-Fi Hotspot created by Connectify on Windows 10.

Problem:

Connectify creates a (Routed) Wi-Fi Hotspot over your PC's Ethernet Connection so Xbox One can connect via Wi-Fi

Xbox can see the Hotspot and will try to connect but will not be able to gain a dynamic IP address from the connection

Xbox will constantly try to reconnect to the hotspot over and unless a change is made.

Solution:

Connectify for some reason is having trouble sending Xbox One its dynamic IP address.

Enter the Advanced Network Settings on Xbox One

Manually assign a static IP within the DHCP range used by Connectify

Any IP address from 192.168.137.2 to 192.1.68.137.254 should work unless otherwise already assigned to another device.

The DNS mask should be 255.255.255.0

Gateway should be 192.168.137.1

Leave DNS servers on automatic settings.

On your PC running Connectify Wi-Fi Hotspot, navigate to Clients tab and find your Xbox One's connection. Will probably say "Microsoft Corporation" by default.

Right click it and make sure Gaming Mode is set to "Xbox Live"

You should now be able to connect to Xbox Live on you Xbox One X with a Moderate NAT. If you have a Strict NAT go back to Step 7.

Connetify Hotspot does not work on Windows 10. I tested the Free Programm MyPublicWiFi to create a Virtual WiFI. She masters very well the game mode and port forwarding for Xbox One manually and automatically .
I use the bandwidth manager under MyPublicWiFi. so that I have full control over my internet bandwidth during the game.

Anyone know how to open the NAT when using Connectify Hotspot? I have to run this hotspot off my laptop at my university to access Xbox Live, but I keep getting the same error.

I understand but the Xbox can't connect also at the wifi connection made with connectify without sharing any thetered connections

Пока что временно Xbox live не работает, вот временный способ.

Для данного способа нужен ноутбук с работающим вай-фаем.

1.Скачать Speedify (5 gb бесплатно)

2.Скачать Connectify Hotspot (он будет раздавать ВПН на консоль

3. Запустить Speedify и законектить к любому ВПН

4.В Connectify Hotspot выбрать В "общий доступ к интернету" Speedify.

Все проверено, способ работает
