Fitness App Discontinued without notice - dismayed

Logged on today to find can no longer download on fitness app from today without notice.....so will lose streaming from December '16. Contacted support who said was not something they can help with........ Wonder about how much value is given to customers?

DO NOT SHUT DOWN XBOX FITNESS!

Kinect is discontinued so why would they keep Xbox Fitness? If the Kinect gets no more updates the game wont work anyway.

Xbox fitness won't load ???

I have got around this by selecting a different profile and then starting up the Fitness app. Once it starts, you can go into the top right (Fitness Profile) settings and switch profiles. When I did that, it seemed to clear whatever was stalling it and I
could exit and then come straight back into the app again without the never-ending pause.

What I want to know is how Microsoft can justify charging us for downloadable content and then withdraw our ability to use it without providing an alternative. I've also experienced this when purchasing music through Groove (Or XBox Music as it was at the
time).

Happened to me yesterday. Is there a place we can complain.. or just tag on a tweet to Phill Spencer. Its outrageous that they charge money for some content and then basically tell you that you have one year to play it. If they want to drop support for
it. ok do so, don't add more content to it. But let people still enjoy and play what they bought already!.

For now nobody knows how (and IF) our license will be transfered to the next Xbox and what will happen if we choose to simply stay on 360 (service discontinued >>>> console broke = no more license? ).

The issue is in the MS terms of use we had accepted, MS declare that they can discontinue a service without notice.

This means example removing games, discontinue the indie games ect.

Unfortunately, I believe the Kinect Fitness app/program itself has also been discontinued. I believe it was shut down in 2017, a real shame because it was an excellent tool for fitness from home. Would have actually been perfect for so many people stuck
at home during the lockdown.
