First time trying Ethernet connection and its not working

I have recently bought Xbox one and was always using wireless to connect to it. Recently I was trying to stream Xbox to my windows PC and I am trying my Xbox to connect to Ethernet but its not accepting the connection .Xbox test connection Always saying
connected to wired connection but also says “No Internet”.

Even I’m using the LAN cable which is tested and working with my TV. So the cable is fine.

Ethernet connection not working

When connecting my original Xbox one console to a wired connection via Ethernet port when I try to connect it comes up with the message "can't connect with a static IP address". I tried connecting the same Ethernet cord to the same modem and connected it
to my laptop and it worked just fine so it isn't a cord issue or an internet issue. I've already tried rebooting both my Xbox and modem but have zero success. Get back to me when you can, thank you.

cannot connect to xbox live, tryed everything

Also my xbox does the little check at the top of wired connection which shows the ethernet is working its just my xbox and modem not workin right or modem not assigning ip address

Thanks for reaching out to us. For this particular issue, we recommend deleting the saved wireless connection that you have set up. Power down your console, unplug the console and router for five full minutes, plug in your Ethernet cable, and power everything
back on. These steps should reset your router settings and clear your consoles cache, it should help with this issue.

Thanks for replying! I tried all the steps as you mentioned but no luck. Weird thing is that there is no LAN light on Xbox LAN port. Is there a possibility that the port is not working?

We can't speculate on the status of your port. If you believe it's malfunctioning, you can certainly
get a repair started for this issue. We recommend
performing a console reset and opting to keep your games and apps. These options should help with this issue.

Hi Marius! Sorry to hear about the issue. Let's do our best here to figure this out.

Is this your first time trying to connect your console via Ethernet cable?
To isolate the issue, please try to use a different Ethernet cable if available. On your modem/router or gateway, try to connect the cable to a different Ethernet port.

It's possible to be a router configuration issue, I would suggest if possible to factory reset your router to reset its configuration and try connecting it again via Ethernet.

Is it connected to the internet? It needs to run an update the first time it boots. It's preferable to connect with an ethernet, at least just the first time.
