1. Are you referring to the game resetting your progress and starting over from the beginning? If so, this could be caused by a few different things, such as a corrupted save file or a bug in the game.

Same problem ,got FH5 and the Hot Wheels dlc, it played first time for about an hour or so and I went to bed, my partner uses my Xbox X and she went to start it and it took a few goes to kick in but only after I signed in again, she played it up to S1 then the next day nothing just the same as everyone's getting, install over and over again. The dlc is not working at the start, I'm getting sick of that intro !!!Hurry up and fix it I was enjoying it

i was curious so i went to look for them. i went to the store on the xbox console and found the mentioned DLC. they didn't have a section where it normally shows "Works With:" so they are not tied to any game. looking at the publisher listed they appear
to be for testing purposes. all 3 are very small files. i tried to download them and they would each reach 99% and stop. having all 3 in my queue was actually pretty funny. each one would reach 99% then stop and move onto the next one, after the 3rd it
would try to do the first one again, but start the download over each time. so they were just basically cycling through attempting to download over and over until i told them to stop.

The first time i saw one of them at an Mcom i went over for a closer look,someone had put c4 on it and blew me up,won't be doing that again lol
